After being impacted by Meta’s 2023 layoffs, Chikara Kennedy transformed what could have been a setback into a powerful catalyst for change. Drawing inspiration from her name, which means “power and strength” in Japanese, she founded Power Coaching and Consulting – a name that perfectly embodies both her personal journey and her mission to empower others.

During her transition, Chikara immersed herself in personal development, working with transformational therapists and coaches while participating in powerful retreats both locally and internationally. Building upon her 20-year career as a Senior HR Leader with prestigious organizations including the U.S. Air Force, Ernst & Young, and Toshiba, she pursued a certification in life, leadership, and executive coaching to help others navigate their own transformations.

Drawing from her diverse experience as an entrepreneur, transformation coach, veteran, and HR leader, Chikara intimately understands the challenges of personal and professional growth. She started Power Coaching and Consulting to create a space where clients can explore their goals, overcome obstacles, and achieve meaningful transformation.
